The Faculty is among a handful of business schools in the world with Triple Accreditation from AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) and AMBA (Association of MBAs).

Our community is dedicated to the pursuit of IDEAS (Innovation-driven Education and Scholarship) with a 3D focus on Discovery, Design and Delivery. We realise knowledge and technology transfer through high-quality educational programmes, as well as partnership and close links with industry and the professional community.

The Faculty offers a comprehensive portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, many of which are recognised by professional bodies in the fields of accounting, finance, logistics, management, marketing and transport. Apart from the BBA, MBA, EMBA, DBA and specialised master’s degrees, there are also research programmes leading to the MPhil and PhD awards.

Si vous n'avez pas complété le formulaire, votre semestre pourrait être invalidé. Les cours choisis doivent être en tout point conformes avec les recommandations portées sur cette fiche. Nous vous rappelons qu'en tant qu'étudiant en échange à temps plein, vous devez prendre le maximum de crédits possibles (= full load).

  • Procédure à suivre

Veuillez vérifier dès à présent la validité de votre passeport, il doit couvrir la durée totale de votre séjour à l'étranger.

1 Nomination - Le Bureau des Relations Internationale d'Audencia Nantes nomine les étudiants auprès de l'université partenaire après avoir reçu les résultats d'affectation.

2 Inscription - Quelques semaines après la nomination, les étudiants seront contactés par la DRI et pourront commencer l'inscription en respectant le délai imposé.

3 Admission - La lettre d'admission arrivera souvent à la DRI vers début juillet (Fall semestre) ou début décembre (Spring semestre).

4 Visa - Les étudiants demandent leur visa d'étudiant auprès de l'Ambassade de pays de destination en France. La DRI ne vous accompagne pas dans les démarches de visa.

5 Assurance - Remplir impérativement les informations d'assurance dans votre compte au plus tard 15 jours votre départ.

6 Bulletin de notes - Nous vous rappelons qu'il est de votre responsabilité de transmettre votre bulletin original à Audencia à la fin de votre semestre. Veuillez donc vous rapprocher de votre université d'accueil pour connaitre les modalités.


Attention: Il est fortement déconseillé d'acheter un billet d’avion avant de recevoir la lettre d’admission. Il est possible que les dates communiquées par l'université d'accueil  avant la réception de votre lettre d'admission diffèrent des dates officielles de quelques jours.
Prévoyez donc des billets modifiables si vous voulez acheter avant la réception des documents officiels. De même pour le billet retour et les dates de fin de semestre.

Les étudiants après avoir été nominé doivent s'inscrire en ligne (en respectant les délais) et transmettre les dossiers au coordinateur d'Audencia Nantes avant le délai,

How to apply  -
You will receive an e-invitation link for online application. Please read carefully and thoroughly the details of "How to Apply" http://www.polyu.edu.hk/iao/study-se-application.php” provided on our website and the factsheet BEFORE you begin the application.

Name -
Please check that the name displayed on the system is the same as it appears on your passport. Please note that we require your 'English' name as shown on your passport without the non-Latin alphabet 'ø'. You may refer to the bottom of the photo page of your passport which indicates your official registered name.
ATTENTION: Il faut marquer tous les noms et prénoms si vous en avez plusieurs!

Choosing your academic department and programme -
Your 'host' department during your exchange will be the academic department that offers the academic programme you are admitted to. 50% (or more) of your enrolled subjects must come from the host department. Please think carefully and consult your home university before making your choice of host department and academic programme, because it is NOT possible to change them after submission of the application. 


Subject Selection -
You will be asked to fill in the preliminary course choices during the online application. Please refer to http://www.polyu.edu.hk/iao/study-se-programmes.php for the available subjects and more guidance. Please only choose your subjects from the subject lists.
You are required to complete a minimum of 9 credits and a maximum of 18 credits per semester. As most subjects carry 3 credits each (approximately 42 teaching hours), you are recommended to take 4 - 6 subjects per semester. If you wish to take less than 6 subjects, please mark ‘n/a’ in the extra subject choice fields on the online application system.
Please be reminded that you must select at least half of your total study load from your host department. For example, if you pick Department of Management and Marketing (MM) and you are going to take 4 courses during exchange, at least 2 of your selected courses should be offered by MM. 


Completing forms and uploading required documents -

You will be asked to complete and upload the following forms and documents. Please be reminded NOT to upload a completed visa form in electronic PDF version (http://www.immd.gov.hk/pdforms/ID995A.pdf) onto the online system because the file could corrupt your application account. You can fill it in electronically (Page 1-4) but please still print it out;  sign all the pages; paste your photo on Page 2; scan the four pages and upload the scan onto the system.


Passport size photo
A recent photo in colour and taken within the last 6 months to reflect your current appearance. Your photo should be a close-up of your head and shoulders with you facing forward and looking straight at the camera. Please note that the image must be uploaded in PDF file format and the minimum resolution required is 300 x 300 pixels.

Academic Transcript and financial proof -
These documents must be in English. Proof of financial support which should be a bank document with evidence of HKD25,000 or more in holding per semester.

Passport copy -
A copy of your Passport page containing details of Full name, Nationality, Date and Place of birth, Passport number, Date of issue & Expiry. Your Passport must be valid for a minimum period of 6 months at the time of travel. Please note that the file size must be within and uploaded in PDF file format.

Visa application form (ID995A / ID992A) -
Please follow the instructions given on the visa form and take note that every page of the visa application form must be pen-signed and dated.

Payment of administrative fee -
You will be required to pay a fee of HKD550 (for visa application and courier services) when submitting your application. If you cannot see your application status change to ‘Submitted’ after payment, please don’t rush to try again. Otherwise, you may pay twice.

After you have submitted your application online, you will NOT be able to change the payment method of the administrative fee. For example if you have chosen to settle the fee by credit you would NOT be able to change it to bank draft or vice versa.

Admission -
Please note that submitted applications will be considered and approved by the relevant host academic department, but are not guaranteed admission. Should your application be successful you will receive an Admission Letter from us by email in 4 to 6 weeks after the application deadline.
We advise you not to confirm travel arrangements (i.e. paying for flights, insurance, etc) until you have received your Admission Letter.

Please upload a copy of the visa application and the relevant documents to the online application portal. Subsequent to the uploading, students are required to send the following original documents to us by post:
1. Completed ID995A visa application form. (Please sign on p.1-4)
2. 2 passport-sized photos for visa application and student ID. The photo must be a close up of head and shoulders, on a white background (no larger than 55mm x 45mm and not smaller than 50mm x 40mm) printed on proper photo paper. (pas de copie en couleur)
3. Copy of passport with validity of 6 months after the completion of the exchange. If the applicant has the right of abode in Hong Kong, a copy of Hong Kong I.D. Card is sufficient.
4. Proof of financial support which should be a bank document with evidence of HKD20,000 or more in holding per semester. The document has to be in English and contains:

   - the name of the bank.
   - the name of the account holder.
   - a balance equivalent to the minimum amount required.
   - If the applicant is not the account holder, the account holder must write a declaration with personal signature that s/he will financially support the applicant.

6. CV

Pay a non-refundable administrative fee of HKD550 covering the visa application and courier service charges. You can do this via a credit card or bank draft, please refer to the "Payment and Submit" section of the online application system.

Academic Calendar -
Most exchange students depart Hong Kong after they finish their PolyU exams. The exam timetable will be announced in the middle of the semester. You are strongly advised NOT to confirm your return flight until you receive the exam timetable. However, if you have to confirm the return date at the time you purchase the flight ticket, please schedule your flight after the end of the exam period. Some exams are scheduled in the evenings and completion as late as 9:30pm. Please note that no request for early exam will be entertained unless due to medical reason.

  • VISA

We are forwarding your visa application to the Hong Kong Immigration Department for processing. When the visa is issued, we will courier it together with the true copy of your admission letter to the address indicated in your application. Please alert us if you are changing address or leaving your home country before the visa has been issued.
If your visa has not been issued by the time you leave for Hong Kong then you may check if your passport allows you to enter Hong Kong as a tourist. If this is possible then you may enter Hong Kong as a tourist first, and pick up your student visa once you arrived in Hong Kong. Upon collection of the student visa, you are required to travel out of Hong Kong and enter the city again so as to activate the visa. Students in similar situation usually go to Macau which is 1.5-hour ferry ride from Hong Kong. 

 
 

  • Logement

Exchange students are guaranteed accommodation at the PolyU Student Halls of Residence for a twin-sharing room. No single room is available.
