Description de l'université
Established in 1863, Politecnico di Milano is one of the most outstanding technical universities in Europe, and it is the largest school in Engineering, Architecture and Industrial Design in Italy.

Politecnico di Milano was ranked best university in Italy, among the first 10 technical universities in Europe and the top-30 technical universities in the world by QS World University Rankings 2015. In 2014 the University received the Wharton-QS Stars Awards 2014: "Reimagine Education" - Nurturing Employability category, for having developed the best education system enhancing the employability of its graduate students in Engineering.

Politecnico di Milano is organized in 12 Departments and in a network of 4 Schools of Engineering, Architecture and Industrial Design; and consists of 7 Campuses with a central administration and management. Schools take care of education, whereas Departments are devoted to research.

Politecnico di Milano offers innovative programmes at all academic levels. Thanks to a strong internationalization policy, many programmes are taught entirely in English, attracting an ever-increasing number of talented foreign students, which now form a diverse community with more than 100 nationalities.

Milano Bovisa Campus
The Milano Bovisa Campus arises on the site of the former gasometer of Bovisa, a neighbourhood north of Milan. The campus has been substantially expanded as the result of an international competition, which was announced in 1998 by Politecnico di Milano in collaboration with other local entities (Municipality and Region) and which has brought about a general renewal of the zone.

The Milano Bovisa campus is subdivided into two campuses: one on via Candiani 72 (Architecture and Design) and one on via La Masa (Engineering). The two campuses also host important research structures.
