French Language Class
French Language Class

Exchange and degree students who enroll on programmes or courses taught in English do not need to speak French, though some basic language proficiency would be a benefit.

International students at Audencia can take part in the following French language courses to improve their language skills during their stay in France:
  • Course CLE400 French is designed to help exchange students master study skills particular to France and Nantes. This can be taken for credit. (4 ECTS) The course takes place between September and March (two hours per week, usually in the evening) and is free of charge for exchange students.
  • Summer courses in Business French take place in June and July and offer a combination of instruction in language and study skills. There is a fee for participation (information available on request).
  • Evening French language courses are also available for international students in the French Department of the University of Nantes. Audencia is not part of the University of Nantes and students must apply to registration independently and pay the fees at the University of Nantes. Sessions are held from October to January and February to May.

For Fall semester, exchange students enrolled at Audencia Bachelor and Audencia Sciences Com will take their French class at the Audencia City Campus_Nantes (rue Bisson).

Audencia’s International Connection Team (IC Team), which is in charge of many cultural events and integration of international students at Audencia, has also created a “Tandem Learning” club. This club connects international students who would like to learn French with French students who would like to learn a different language so that they may help each other improve their linguistic skills.
